Our Mission

To provide a national forum for discussion of social welfare and related issues of social development.
To initiate and Foster development of social welfare programmes pertaining to spread of education of all types, social hygiene, Health care, eradication Of untouchability, provision of Legal Aid to the poor and needy, finding a home for the homeless persons, rehabilitation of the displaced, the physically, the Mentally and socially handicapped including those affected by leprosy and particularly the working child and destitute children, youth, men, woman, is persons and relief to those affected by discrimination, violence, and natural calamities and all other in need of social support and public assistance.
To facilitate and promote cooperation and coordination among national and local organisations related to the field of social welfare and development.
To review and whenever possible to guide the progress of social work and development in the country on scientific lines.
To promote and encourage the establishment of educational institutions in social welfare and allied fields.
